Ebony & SilverOver the course of 11 decades conductors (and their batons) come and go. Dave Hedlund, RSO History Project Coordinator, tells the story of a special conducting baton. It belonged to our very first conductor, Frank Laubach over a century ago. His baton left Regina in 1923 but came back to the city in 2018, 95 years later, as part of our 110th anniversary celebrations!

The RSO has partnered with the Access 2 program to help ensure as many individuals as possible receive the support they need to attend an RSO concert. The Access 2 program is available to people of all ages and types of permanent disabilities who require the assistance of a support person.

The RSO’s Forward Currents Festival is a 3-day festival which inspires conversation around social issues through music and art.
