Lief Mosbaugh, Principal Oboe
Lief is happy to be joining the Regina Symphony Orchestra this season after 2 years as Principal oboe of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra. Prior to that, Lief Completed a degree in performance from the University of Toronto under the direction of Richard Dorsey and an artist diploma program at the Royal Conservatory of Music, studying with Sarah Jeffrey. Other orchestras that Lief has played with include the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Windsor Symphony Orchestra and Timmins Symphony Orchestra.
Aside from his classical music training Lief is also very active in the Indie music scene and plays viola with his band 'The Hidden Cameras' and has worked with artists such as Owen Palette, Spiral Beach, The Hylozoists and Laura Barrett. Lief is excited to be completing his first solo project and hopes for many creative outlets in Regina. |
